Studio Policies

The following Policies apply to all lesson agreements made between Helene Holman (the teacher) and the pupils and/or their parents/carers.

 

Payment

All lesson fees are paid for at the time of booking through the online scheduler, Acuity. All payments are non- refundable. 

Monthly Packages

Lesson fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period (your initial sign up date) via autopay. Lessons expire the day before each new billing period. A credit or debit card is required to be kept on file for each student. All new students are charged a one-off £15 administration fee at the beginning of their tuition. This covers costs for sheet music, scripts, and theory books initially.

 

Missed Lessons/Rescheduling

It is the student’s responsibility to attend lessons. If you need to reschedule your lesson you can do so up to 48 hours in advance by rescheduling your lesson through the online scheduler. Fail to do so will result in you forfeiting that lesson. 

 

On the rare occasion, the teacher cannot make the agreed-upon lesson time, these lessons will be made up at a later date, or will be refunded. 

 

Sickness

Students who are ill will be turned away from lessons without a refund. If you are mildly sick or have no way of getting to a lesson then online lessons are a great alternative. They are a valuable way to keep your individual lesson time and avoid missing out. 

Online Sessions will be taught via Zoom (Instructions about how to use Zoom will be sent prior to online lesson times).​​

 

Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy at any time and without prior notice. Any updated versions will be provided to all current students. Your continued use of this studio following any such changes constitutes your agreement with all posted Policy updates, and you will be subject to the associated revised terms. You may access the most current Studio Policies at any time on my website.

Communication​

All correspondence is sent out to the student/parent by email. It is the responsibility of the student/parent to make the teacher aware of any changes to their contact details. She will not be held responsible for any missed communications if this is due to incorrect contact information.
